Biography of Prabhas

Prabhas was born to Late U Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari, a family hailing from Bheemavaram. He is one of three children, his brother is Prabodh and sister is Pragathi. He is nephew of Tollywood star and politician Uppalapati Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas movies often project him as being a funny and enjoying hero or are very biased towards being a very serious, action-oriented and strong hero. Either ways, he does his acts very well. In Chakram, for instance, he appears as a joyful and always happy guy through out the movie while in Billa, he appears as a smart and dynamic don from the beginning to end.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas's upcoming Rebel under the direction of choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is being planned for the Telugu New Year, Ugadi (March 23).

The film which is progressing at a brisk pace has Tamanna and Deeksha Seth paired with the 'Varsham' star for the first time. An out and out commercial entertainer, Lawrence is aiming to show Prabhas in a new avatar.

The director is returning to direction in Telugu after the flop show, 'Don' with Nagarjuna. Veteran actor and Prabhas's uncle Krishnam Raju is playing an important role in the film.

Music sensation S S Thaman is composing for the film which is produced by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan on Balaji Cine Media Banner.
